OneMaxx Point Of Sale module
The Point Of Sale System is
completely integrated with the Inventory Management,
Accounts Receivable and General Ledger applications. It effectively
turns any compatible user terminal device or PC into an efficient on-line
point-of-sale device.
Features of the application
include:
- Ability to handle Account or Cash
Sales
- Cash Sales use a hot key to facilitate
rapid transaction entry
- Accounts Sales may be entered from the
same program, with a search facility to quickly find and verify
debtor information
- Supports attached Bar Code Reader,
receipt printer and
Cash Drawer
- Allows payment by Cash, Cheque and
Credit Cards, or a combination of two or more methods
- Bad Cheque / Credit Card
validation
- Quotation System front end allows the
entry, storage maintenance and automatic transfer (to invoice) of
customer quotations with a search facility to retrieve quotes from
customers not set up as debtors
- Automatic posting to stock and debtors
accounts after each customer sale, while cash sales are posted in
bulk during end of day processing
In addition to the POS module, interface to other
POS systems is provided. This interface is application independent (XML/SMTP)
and can be used for Web based shopping carts, as well as for B2B and B2C
front-ends.
